There is strong immunopositivity of the malignant lymphoid cells for leukocyte common antigen (LCA). All of the other immunohistochemical markers (AE1, AE3, myogenin (MYO), vimentin (VIM), desmin (DES), and neuron specific enolase (NSE) are negative.
